I STUDIED PHOTOGRAPHY AT BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY, AND RECEIVED MY BACHELORS IN FINE ARTS IN 2016. IT WAS THERE THAT I REALIZED HOW MUCH I GENUINELY LOVED PHOTOGRAPHING FOOD. I'VE NEVER CONSIDERED MYSELF A FOOD SNOB OR A "FOODIE" (EVEN THOUGH MY HUSBAND AND I PRETEND WE ARE FOOD CRITICS AFTER WATCHING TOO MUCH MASTER CHEF JUNIOR). I DO LOVE FOOD THOUGH. MY ENTIRE BUSINESS IS BASED AROUND THAT ONE SIMPLE LOVE.

I BELIEVE IF YOU LOVE SOMETHING YOU DON'T MANIPULATE IT OR FORCE IT TO BE ANYTHING IT'S NOT, AND I BRING THIS PHILOSOPHY TO MY PHOTOGRAPHY. FOOD SHOULD BE CELEBRATED FOR HOW BEAUTIFUL AND TASTY IT IS! I ONLY USE NATURAL METHODS OF ENHANCING MY SUBJECT MATTER, AND ALWAYS STRIVE TO MAKE SURE MY CLIENTS KNOW HOW MUCH I RESPECT THEIR ART, BECAUSE I BELIEVE A MASTERPIECE CAN TOTALLY BE EDIBLE. I WANT TO CAPTURE YOUR CREATIONS AND CELEBRATE ALL IN THIS WORLD THAT IS, QUITE FRANKLY, DELICIOUS.

OUTSIDE OF PHOTOGRAPHY, I ENJOY SEWING, LOUNGING AT LAKE MICHIGAN, AND SPENDING TIME WITH MY HUSBAND AND TWO LITTLE GIRLS. ADDITIONALLY, IF HARRY POTTER IS INVOLVED, THEN I USUALLY AM TOO. I LOVE GETTING TO MEET INTERESTING PEOPLE THROUGH MY BUSINESS, AND SEEING THEIR PERSONALITIES THROUGH WHAT THEY COOK. I THINK LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO COUNT CALORIES, SO LET'S EAT!
